The European Association for Professions in Biomedical Science (EPBS) and the European Biosafety Association (EBSA) share common goals.

The EPBS is a non-profit organisation committed to promoting best practice and ethics for Biomedical Laboratory Scientists throughout Europe. One of the objectives of EPBS is to establish formal links with relevant European organisations

EBSA is a non-profit organisation which aims to provide a forum for its members to discuss and debate issues of concern and to represent those working in the field of biosafety and associated activities. EBSA is also committed to enhancing the knowledge and understanding of biological safety issues throughout Europe. 

This collaboration is made in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), commencing 2019.
